This medication is strictly prohibited for individuals with the following health conditions:

• Thyroid Cancer Risk: You must not use tirzepatide if you or anyone in your family has ever had a type of thyroid cancer called medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC).

• MEN 2 Syndrome: It is contraindicated for patients with Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2, a condition that causes tumors in endocrine glands.

Other Restrictions:

• Severe Allergies: Do not use if you have had a serious allergic reaction to tirzepatide or any of its ingredients.

• Severe Gastrointestinal Disease: It is not recommended for people with severe stomach or intestinal problems, such as gastroparesis (slow stomach emptying), as the drug can worsen these conditions.

• Pancreatitis: It has not been studied in patients with a history of pancreatitis, and caution is advised.

• Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Use is not recommended during pregnancy as it may harm the fetus. It should be discontinued at least one month before a planned pregnancy.

• Age Restriction: Restricted to adults aged 18 and older for weight management.
